The event
On 15 and 16 October 2026 Cooperatives Europe marked its 20th anniversary with a two-day event at the European Economic and Social Committee, under the title What's the next chapter towards economic democracy? It brought together cooperative members, EU institutions, academia and partners, with high-level speakers including Enrico Letta and Raffaele Fitto, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Cohesion and Reform.
What I did
I coordinated every aspect of the event, with support from the team: programme, venue and logistics, speakers and partners, the awards ceremony, the evening celebration and the communication around it. That included the speaker and partner kit, playbooks for staff and for our president, the main presentation, a look-back video with materials for the interpreters, the press release, and social media before, during and after the event.
